Disaster Recovery with HPE Zerto Software
on Mainstream Cloud

Continuous protection.
Fast recovery.
Predictable costs.

Recover applications in minutes, minimize data loss, and keep your business running even during outages or ransomware incidents.

Speak with a Disaster recovery architect

Traditional disaster recovery is slow, expensive, and hard to test.

Many organizations still rely on backup-based recovery or manual replication approaches. When something fails, these systems often cannot restore services quickly enough.

Businesses today need disaster recovery that is continuous, automated, and regularly tested.

Common challenges include:

  • Hours or days of potential data loss
  • Slow and manual recovery processes
  • Complex DR infrastructure to maintain
  • Limited ability to test recovery safely
  • Unpredictable costs during recovery events

Zerto Disaster recovery as a service on Mainstream Cloud

Disaster recovery should be predictable, fast, and easy to operate. HPE Zerto Software on Mainstream Cloud provides continuous protection for critical workloads with recovery measured in seconds and orchestrated failover when incidents occur.

Lowest data loss

HPE Zerto Software provides recovery points every few seconds and maintains a recovery journal that allows rollback for up to 30 days — ideal for ransomware recovery and human error.

Fast recovery

Orchestrated failover restores applications and services in minutes rather than hours.

Pricing you can understand

The service uses a clear pricing model with a monthly protection fee and a runtime fee only when systems actually run in the DR environment.

Typical use cases

Organizations commonly adopt HPE Zerto Software Disaster recovery as a service on Mainstream Cloud for:

Ransomware recovery

Recover to a clean checkpoint before the attack.

Regulatory resilience requirements

Maintain documented and testable recovery capabilities.

Datacenter exit or consolidation

Move Disaster recovery infrastructure to cloud while keeping production on-premises.

Why Disaster recovery with HPE Zerto Software

Zerto uses continuous data protection (CDP) rather than periodic snapshots or backup windows.

Continuous replication

Workloads replicate continuously, enabling recovery points measured in seconds rather than hours.

Application-aware recovery

Applications can be grouped into recovery sets with defined startup order and dependencies.

Non-disruptive DR testing

Recovery tests can run anytime without affecting production environments.

Rapid failback

Once systems stabilize, workloads can be returned to the primary site quickly.

Built for businesses of every size

Disaster recovery as a service with HPE Zerto Software on Mainstream Cloud is designed to support organizations of different sizes and recovery requirements. With a pricing model based on protected workloads and the flexibility to tailor the service to each environment, the solution can be adapted to fit both operational needs and business priorities.

Small businesses

Get enterprise-grade disaster recovery without the cost and complexity of building and managing a secondary site.

Mid-sized businesses

Protect critical applications with a solution that scales as the business grows and adapts to changing operational requirements.

Large enterprises

Support complex environments with tailored DR design, broader recovery scope, and the operational model needed for business-critical systems.

Pricing made simple

Our pricing is designed to be clear and predictable. You pay a monthly protection fee to keep workloads continuously protected and ready for recovery, and a runtime fee only when protected systems actually run in the Disaster recovery environment.

Monthly protection fee

The monthly protection fee is calculated per protected VM, per month. Pricing also takes into account the selected journal retention period, since longer retention provides a wider recovery window and more restore points over time.

DR runtime fee

The DR runtime fee is charged only when a VM is started in Mainstream Cloud for testing or a real recovery event. It is billed based on the time the VM runs in the DR environment and includes the resources needed to operate it during that period.
