Do you need added value in cloud spending?

Public cloud brings almost infinite potential for your company. This, however, implies that you have the in-house resources – expertise and time – to commit to your account and achieve cost reduction while growing the business.

Are you facing:

  • Ambiguous bills from public cloud providers
  • Payment issues with credit cards
  • Higher costs than expected
  • Slow or inadequate support
  • Lack of in-house expertise to understand and use some of the services on AWS and Azure?

If you answered yes, your use of public cloud services is ripe for a healthier foundation with a cloud reselling partner.

How is added value achieved on cloud consumption?

More and more companies with resources  on public cloud platforms are opting for cloud reselling partners who act as intermediaries between tech giants and senduser. Some of the benefits that a cloud reselling partner can provide are:

Uninterrupted access

Access and use services on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or Oracle platform without interruption

One point of contact

Faster and simpler communication for everything related to the cloud through a single point of contact

Transparent insights into consumption

Consolidated invoices and monthly charges

Frequently asked questions

If you still have any questions, please feel free to contact us and we will help you to the best of our ability.

  • What benefits do I get from purchasing cloud services through a reseller like Mainstream?

Benefits include personalized customer service, access to additional support and consulting services, and often customized solutions that better fit your business needs compared to purchasing directly from AWS or Azure (Microsoft).

  • Can Mainstream help me manage cloud services?

Yes, as an AWS Advanced Tier and Microsoft solutions partner, Mainstream can provide management and optimization services for your cloud resources, helping you make the most of your investment.

  • What does "invoicing change" mean and why should I do it?

Basically, this means that you will no longer receive invoices for used cloud services directly from the provider but from Mainstream. Technically, this simply means that your account will become part of a cloud organization managed by Mainstream. The billing change allows Mainstream to provide you with a number of additional benefits.

  • What does the process look like?

The joining process is quite simple. The main user of your AWS or Azure account will receive an email inviting you to join an AWS/Azure Organization managed by Mainstream. All you have to do is log into the console and press “OK”. From that moment on, all your costs on AWS or Azure will be through Mainstream, and you will be able to see your Organization in the console.

  • Does Mainstream have access to my AWS/Azure account and services?

No, Mainstream cannot see how you use cloud services, nor their configurations or data. We only have access to billing information, which is naturally required to create invoices for your AWS/Azure usage. If you learn more about cloud organizations, you will see that there are two types – “All features” and “Consolidated billing“. Mainstream’s Organization is of the “Consolidated billing” type, which will be clearly indicated in the invitation you receive from cloud to join.

  • What if I already use an AWS/Azure Organizations service?

As this service currently allows an AWS/Azure account to be part of only one Organization, to change billing you will need to leave your old Organization and join ours. It’s a simple process (takes 5-15 minutes max), but we recommend doing it together to save you time – we’ve done it many times before.

  • When will we receive invoices?

It usually takes 1-2 days after the provider issues invoices from their end, so the average date for invoices from Mainstream to our customers is the 5th of the month. You’ll receive standard invoices with due dates (yes, no more credit card payments!).

  • Can Mainstream help with cloud account setup and migration?

Yes, Mainstream can help set up your AWS/Azure account, plan and execute migrations, and optimize your cloud environment for performance, security, and cost.
