Šport Ljubljana: Migration of Office applications, DMS and ERP software to Mainstream Managed Environment

• One of the main goals was to ensure consistent performance of applications and enterprise software such as Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) and Document Management System (DMS).

• By moving to the Mainstream Cloud as part of our Managed Environment service, Šport Ljubljana created a reliable environment for its business applications. Our organisation aims to keep up with the latest innovations and in line with this goal we moved from the existing cloud hosting to a new hosting solution – he added.
• For transitioning to a new hosting environment, Šport Ljubljana chose Telemach Slovenia who worked on this project together with Mainstream and provided the necessary network topology for establishing communication between Šport Ljubljana’s HQ and Mainstream’s data center in Ljubljana. 

The project included the migration of eight virtual servers to Mainstream’s infrastructure. In order to meet the needs of Office applications, ERP and DMS software, our team set up a tailored environment with a focus on security, reliability and efficient utilisation of resources.

Public Institution Šport Ljubljana is focused on sports promotion and development in the Slovenian capital. Its activities include sports infrastructure management, planning and building of new sports facilities, and organisation of other relevant activities in Ljubljana. With a focus on continuous improvement, Šport Ljubljana included digitisation of processes and implementation of new ICT systems into its strategy for 2028.
